Welcome to my online teaching portfolio.
I have taught Art for the past 20 years at all grade levels at residential and public school systems in the states. For the past few years I have been researching the possibilities of working overseas at international schools and can teach any grade level.
For the past two years I have been working full-time as an artist and weaving instructor in New Mexico, Ohio and Colorado. Part of my work has been as an instructor of fiber arts, has been giving demonstrations of new weaving techniques at art festivals and workshops.
After a period of reflection I have come to realization that to continue to grow as an artist/educator, a return to the Art Classroom in an International School would be a dream and the journey as an international educator would be an amazing adventure. I have always been interested in discovering more about Asian Arts and Culture in varies regions in the past few years. Working with students who are motivated to embrace all I could teach would be an honor.
